Understanding that everyone is different and accepting that is something I think a lot of us can learn. I found the twilight skype session very helpfull. However this made me reflect upon different perspectives and the beauty that lies within. This made me realise that expression is way more than words - it is sounds and actions too. You don't have to always understand fully to appreciate something.

My recent blog post in response to the Skype call on Wednesday 17th October. I have written about making links within your work from a unique perspective.
http://jessleavins.blogspot.com/Jess Levhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07704497417556890335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985990633590684254.post-47549285953814918272019-10-19T10:46:58.112-04:002019-10-19T10:46:58.112-04:00Hey all, I really found watching this video a good...Hey all, I really found watching this video a good way to question not only other peoples perspectives and approach to their practice but also how I observe and link my own practice to things I don't fully understand. Check out my blog post on Perspective withing my practice and how we see things! Amanda was very brave to blog her video "In My Language", giving us insight into her perspective of the World and how she communicates through various senses other than the English language. The topic of autism is ever growing, where scientists and psychologists are continually discovering new branches to this complicated tree that is Autism. In relation to my practice, it is vital to be aware of all our senses: sight and feel for spacial awareness, hearing the music, smell for caution of lights overheating backstage. Watching A M Baggs has led me to reflect on how her condition has given her an incredible intelligence on another level, which others can learn from - feeling entirely aware of the space and objects around us in a state of mindfulness. For example, how to present an artefact in creative ways, also how teaching in different types of schools or schools in different areas may change the way you might teach or speak. The other thing that the skype session gave me is confidence, confidence to believe in my practice and believe in my ideas and how I study. We all need to trust our judgement.

Thankyou for the skype I will be blogging about teaching in a school based in a deprived area and how this might affect the way I teach and how my students may learn differently compared to somewhere else in a more privileged area.RachaelAllenWoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02340197513247942798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985990633590684254.post-29667577137097261652019-10-17T13:23:47.328-04:002019-10-17T13:23:47.328-04:00This discussion was very insightful and it was int...This discussion was very insightful and it was interesting to hear so many opinions.
